| The
lower shell. The design of the lower shell provides enough
clearance to negotiate small obstacles (such as stones or branches)
in rough terrain, without needing to be raised.

The retractable handle integrated with the rear
of the vehicle makes it possible for a single person to carry the
robot.

The lower shell has splashboards that extend
beyond the wheels at the side, thereby providing protection against
splashes, and increasing the area of the upper shell installed above
it.

The
inside shell is installed flexibly inside the lower shell
with six elastic rubber buffers.

The upper shell is attached
to the lower shell with four screws, but is easily removed. It serves
as a platform for a panning head, lift mast, customer-specified
sensors and antennas for radio communications. The cover is also
manufactured from aluminium. When delivered, this is 3 cm in height.
It can, however, be adjusted to meet individual customer requirements.

There is a seal between the upper and the lower
shells.
